“To inspire academic achievement — in the classroom and our communities.”

Hi, I’m Rachel Green.

I’m Rachel, a Portland-based educator and freelance graphic designer with a passion for combining creativity and learning. For ten years, I taught second grade, where I specialized in project-based learning that encouraged students to explore and express their ideas in innovative ways.

My interest in design led me to earn a certification in graphic design, which I now use to create educational resources like posters, worksheets, and interactive materials for schools and education-focused companies. I believe that strong visuals can make a significant difference in how students understand and engage with concepts.

Through my work, I advocate for materials that are not only visually appealing but also accessible to a wide range of learners. I’m always on the lookout for tools that allow educators and designers to collaborate effectively, helping to create resources that truly resonate with students.

On FreeKidsContent.com, I aim to share strategies, tips, and resources that bridge the gap between education and design, offering practical solutions to educators and parents looking to enhance their teaching methods.
